Treating Endometriosis-Associated Pelvic Pain with Homeopathy
March 9, 2020
The European Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology ran a study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of potentized estrogen compared to placebo in homeopathic treatment of endometriosis-associated pelvic pain. The study was 24 weeks long, randomized, double blind and placebo controlled.
It included women aged 18-45 years old with a diagnosis of deeply infiltrating endometriosis based on MRI or Ultrasound. The women were given either a homeopathic preparation of estrogen in a 12CH, 18CH or 24CH potency or they were given a placebo. Each woman was given three drops of remedy or placebo, twice a day for 24 weeks.
The results show that the potentized estrogen was significantly more effective than placebo for reducing endometriosis-associated pelvic pain. Once again demonstrating the efficacy of homeopathic treatments.
