Homeopathy tops Northern Ireland Study

A study done by the Northern Ireland government found that complementary and alternative therapies (CAM) offer significant health benefits for patients and Homeopathy was the best of all!

The CAM involved in the study included acupuncture, chiropractor, osteopathy, homeopathy, massage, and more. Patients who received Homeopathic treatment had the greatest improvement at 79%, followed by acupuncture (77%) and chiropractic or osteopathy (56%).

Patients had been referred by MD's when conventional treatment wasn't helping for issues such as arthritis, fibromyalgia, CFS, anxiety, depression, panic attacks, anger, headaches, chest infections, hypertension, psoriasis and obesity.

The study had many positive findings like:

-over 80% of patients reported an improvement in their symptoms and physical health

-67% recorded improvement in their general well being

-55% reduced their use of painkillers.
